Dr. Kay McLennan is a Professor of Practice at Tulane University. Kay has been creating and using virtual world learning simulations in her online economics and business studies courses since 2008. In particular, Kay uses student feedback to continually refine and expand the educational simulations she creates to use in her e-courses (see highlights of the student survey data collected @ http://scsmetaverse.wp.tulane.edu/virtual-world-learning/student-feedback/). Also, Kay's Prisoners’ Dilemma and Data Detectives Game virtual world simulations won prizes in [previous] Federal Virtual World Challenge contests (see https://sites.google.com/site/fvc13mclennan/). Further, in addition to more than ten years of experience developing and teaching online courses, Kay designed and directed an extensive 2-year online course quality improvement initiative at Tulane University's School of Continuing Studies (see the article entitled "Tulane School of Continuing Studies: Case Study in Online Quality Improvement" @ http://files.eric.ed.gov/fulltext/EJ967819.pdf).
